Custom Acoustic Panels for Office Spaces

Project Summary

We partnered with a client to enhance the acoustics of their new office's common spaces using our high-quality Echo Moon GLL and Felt Panels. Working closely with the designer, we developed a custom acoustic solution that met both aesthetic and functional requirements. Scope of Work

• Initial Consultation: Discussing client requirements and design visualisations.
• On-site Measurements: Conducting detailed measurements with our acoustic engineers.
• Design Finalisation: Confirming positions, sizes, and layouts with the client and designer.
• Product Customisation: Custom painting felt panels with specified RAL colours.
• Production: Manufacturing Echo Moon baffles, custom GLL panels, and geometric felt panels.
• Installation: Completing a one-day installation of all acoustic panels.

Challenge

The primary challenge was to create an acoustic treatment that seamlessly integrated with the designer's visualisations while effectively managing the acoustics of the office's common spaces. The project required precise customisation of panel sizes, shapes, and colours to fit the aesthetic and acoustic needs of the space.

Solution

To address the challenge, we employed a variety of acoustic solutions.

First, we installed Echo Moon hanging baffles to manage the sound in all open areas. Smaller 3D-shaped custom GLL panels were used on selected walls to enhance sound absorption. We added to the acoustic solution our Felt panels too. Custom geometric designs with grooves, painted in a RAL colour specified by the client, were used for additional sound control and visual appeal.

Our team tested all designs for effectiveness before starting production, ensuring the best possible acoustic performance.
