DECIBEL designed and installed a custom acoustic solution for a bank office that needed a versatile space divider. The area served dual purposes: as a conference room and as a shared desk space for employees. The client sought a movable partition to divide or unify the space as needed. Leveraging a large sideboard as a base for the dividers, DECIBEL created four bespoke moving separator panels using acoustic PET felt, ensuring functionality, aesthetic appeal, and improved acoustics.

Solution

The custom solution involved creating four movable separators from acoustic PET-felt panels. These panels featured:

• Acoustic Foam Filling: For superior sound absorption, and for reducing noise between the two spaces.
• Custom RAL Colour: To match the office’s branding and interior design aesthetic.
• Integrated Handles: To ensure the separators can be easily moved and adjusted daily.
